Heart Land Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation

We are participating in the upcoming www.specialhorses.org fundraiser – a "Trash or Treasure” auction. Aunt Esther (yes, the infamous Aunt Esther from the Chronicle of the Horse Forums) has generously volunteered her services as Celebrity Emcee. This auction will be pitched differently to make it more fun and solicit more interest than the usual type of auction. There will be both small and big-ticket items, so everyone can bid on something, and they will run the gamut from classy and tasteful (treasure) to not (trash) as deemed by Aunt Esther (and the items need to not be horsey, just sellable!). For the “trash” items, here’s your opportunity to find that special gift! Would you like revenge for someone’s tasteless and tacky holiday offering? Here’s your chance! And every time you bid, you get the chance to vote for "classiest" or "trashiest," and the winner from each of those categories gets a Farm at Nanticoke Creek gift basket (www.farmatnanticokecreek.com).

PLEASE SEND THE ITEM DIRECTLY TO US! We will issue a receipt (and please remember, shipping costs are also tax deductible). We will ensure that the items are uploaded onto the auction site at www.specialhorses.org. These items will be specified as being donated with proceeds going directly to our organization.
